The Nexera-i MT from Shimadzu incorporates two flow lines, which allow for both UHPLC and HPLC analysis.

The Nexera-i MT from Shimadzu supports the transfer of existing high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) to faster ultra-high pressure liquid chormatography (UHPLC) methods while assuring cross-compatibility. The system’s analytical conditions transfer and optimization (ACTO) technology minimizes the effect of system volume differences on analytical results. The ACTO technology adjusts injection timing based on the system volume difference between existing HPLC system and Nexera-i MT without modification to the gradient program.

The Nexera-i MT features two independent flow lines, for UHPLC and HPLC analyses. The system can switch between flow lines and automatically compensates for differences in system volume, preserving relative separation patterns. It also allows for efficient switching between large- and small-volume systems. Users can transfer UHPLC and HPLC methods from other systems to the Nexera-i MT without the need for modification. The system includes fully automated system startup, baseline stabilization, and user interfaces. Users can modify analytical methods using the Nexera-i MT’s touchscreen control panel.
