Saneca Pharma, a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) based in Slovakia, announced that it has sold registration dossiers for more than 20 pharmaceutical products to Swiss company Xantis Pharma as part of an exclusive agreement. The portfolio of products will be marketed by Xantis Pharma throughout Central and Eastern Europe.
Under the terms of the agreement, the European CDMO will hold an exclusive five-year contract manufacturing agreement for the products with Xantis Pharma. Saneca Pharma will continue to act as Xantis Pharma’s agent for out-licensing opportunities for the dossiers outside of these regions.
The two firms have also committed to working together to develop nine new products in the next three years. While Saneca Pharma will use its expertise in formulation development and regulatory support, Xantis Pharma will promote the new offerings to the market.
