West Pharmaceutical Services will be showcasing its portfolio of drug packaging and delivery system solutions at CPhI this year. The company’s technologies help companies bring drugs from concept to the patients safely, reliably, and effectively.

“West’s philosophy is to work by the side of our customers to design and manufacture drug packaging and delivery systems that improve patient lives around the world,” said Mike Schäfers, vice-president, Global Marketing, Pharmaceutical Packaging Systems, West.

Attendees can visit West’s booth (2F41) to learn more about the company’s latest development in packaging and drug delivery technologies. Among the offerings that West will showcase are the Daikyo Crystal Zenith prefilled syringe system and West’s self-administration solutions, including the SmartDose electronic wearable injector, the ConfiDose autoinjector and the SelfDose injector.

West is also exhibiting packaging solutions such as the West Ready Pack system, which provides a convenient, one-stop solution for sterile vials, stoppers, seals, and vial adapters, and is ideal for research, development, and clinical and flexible small-volume commercial filling. Other products on display will include NovaPure components, Westar RU steam-sterilized plungers, Westar RS/RU cartridge components, as well as multiple packaging adopted to the sterilization needs of companies, such as sterilizable bags and Rapid Transfer Port (RTP) systems available from various manufacturers.
