Copley Scientific’s new Vertical Diffusion Cell Test System Model HDT 1000 comprises a compact unit with 10 test stations that enables the precise control of test conditions.
The system is combined with two new Vertical Diffusion Cells that allow for reproducible analysis. The system utilizes a precision heating block that allows for temperature control and agitation speed via a magnetic stirrer bar in each individual cell.
Two sizes of Vertical Diffusion Cell are available corresponding to the Models “B” (11.28 mm diameter, 7 mL capacity) and “C” (15 mm diameter, 11 mL capacity). Both cells also feature a unique clamping system fitted with a side-sampling arm to facilitate bubble free filling, sample withdrawal, and media replacement. All cells include individual tops for open and closed or occluded operation. Various synthetic membranes for use with the cells are also available.
