Pall has introduced Acrodisc syringe filters with universal water-wettable polytetrafluoroethylene (wwPTFE) membranes for analytical instrument applications.
Pall has introduced Acrodisc syringe filters with universal water-wettable polytetrafluoroethylene (wwPTFE) membranes for analytical instrument applications. The new syringe filter helps protect ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC) columns and instrumentation from particulate buildup and helps ensure accurate data.
The Acrodisc syringe filter with wwPTFE membrane is applicable for aqueous samples and solutions containing aggressive organic solvents. Accurate analysis is ensured with UHPLC certification for low levels of ultraviolet-absorbing extractables.
The syringe filters are available in 13 mm and 25 mm sizes. The 13-mm filter comeswith a minispike outlet for low hold-up volume and simple filtration into autosampler vials. An optional asymmetric glass-fiber prefilter, which provides higher particulate-holding capacity for greater throughput and volume, is also available.
The wwPTFE membrane also comes in Nanosep spin devices for low volumes and AcroPrep Advance filter plates for processing up to 96 samples at once.
