Sharp will present alongside Tracelink, Systech, Covectra, and Domino during CPhI Worldwide.

On Sept. 28, 2016, Sharp Packaging Services announced that it would be addressing delegates at CPhI Worldwide alongside Tracelink, Systech, Covectra, and Domino. Sharp Packaging Services is a division of UDG Healthcare plc. The alliance, Sharp says, is to assist in providing customers with a rapid implementation path to serialization readiness in view of the upcoming directives by the US Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) in November 2017 and the European Union Falsified Medicines Directive (EU FMD) in February 2019.

Sharp is partnering with TraceLink to help its pharmaceutical manufacturing customers prepare for the next phase of rapidly approaching regulation requirements. The partnership with Systech will implement the company’s UniSeries Serialization suite to deliver multi-regional, multi-aggregation serialization provisioning to its customers. Covectra will supply Sharp with its AuthentiTrack solution, which offers a modular approach to serialize down to the unit of use. Domino will work with Sharp to serialize pharmaceutical packaging using Domino’s legislative-compliant coding solutions.

Sharp Packaging Services and its panel of serialization technology partners will be presenting at CPhI Worldwide, in Barcelona on Oct. 4–6, 2016. Delegates will be addressed on the theme of Serialization: Optimizing Your Supply Chain Means Optimizing Your Partners. The presentation will explore the critical path to supply chain readiness, risk-assessment, benchmarking, and serialization risk-mitigation options. The briefing will take place in the Pharma Insight Briefing room on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016 at 11:30 am CEST. Sharp will be located at booth 3L56 in the ICSE Hall throughout the conference.
