Coperion K-Tron, Fette Compacting, Glatt Air Technologies, and others presented an interactive seminar at Rutgers University.
Coperion K-Tron has announced it is planning seminars on continuous granulation and hot-melt extrusion. These seminars will follow a previous seminar on continuous direct compression that was held in May 2016 at Rutgers University’s Pharmaceutical Research Center in Piscataway, New Jersey. Several companies, including Coperion K-Tron, Fette Compacting, Glatt Air Technologies, QdB Process Technologies, and the Rutgers-based Center for Structured Organic Particulate Systems (C-SOPS), presented technical talks, testing demonstrations, and a live working demonstration of a completely integrated direct compression line.
The May 2016 seminar discussed continuous feeding and proportioning, continuous refill operations, continuous mixing, tablet press operations, process design and integration, and process analytical technologies. Training on continuous dry granulation, drying, and wet granulation was also offered at the May seminar.
Those interested in participating in future seminars may contact Ms. Sharon Nowak 856.256.3119, snowak@coperionktron.com.
