Romaco Kilian's KTP 420X tablet press compresses up to 360,000 tablets an hour.

Romaco Kilian’s KTP 420X tablet press compresses up to 360,000 tablets an hour. The system produces mono-layer, bilayer, or core tablets (tab-in-tab), and can process poorly flowing materials.

All models in the KTP 420X series and KTP 720X series can optionally include the Continuous Weight Control (CWC) in-line scale, which measures the tablets as they are pressed. The CWC system eliminates the need for sample tablets, reducing product loss and unnecessary costs. The ergonomic and hygienic design protects tablets from lubricants with patented punch bellows while measuring one tablet per turret revolution with an accuracy of 0.1 milligrams. The cost of ownership is reduced by a wear-free torque motor, lower punch breaks, and durable compression rollers, the company reports.
