Roche Engineer wins iPad at INTERPHEX
At the INTERPHEX show in New York last month where Pharmaceutical Technology/BioPharm International magazines and Dun & Bradstreet Credibility Corp. launched the Pharmaceutical Technology/BioPharm International Marketplace, a contest was held to give away a free iPad mini.
The lucky winner was Ralph Mehne, an engineer at Roche Molecular Systems in New Jersey.
“I have never won a contest before this,” said Mehne, who has worked in engineering at Roche for the past 16 years. Before that, he was an engineer for a water/wastewater equipment company.
One of Mehne’s hobbies is photography and he said the iPad will get plenty of use.
“I really enjoy photography and since I have a digital camera with a three-inch screen, I will be able to download my pictures to the iPad and make adjustments instantly while I’m still in the field.”
