The Titan syringe pump from Syrris is a continuous-flow chemical processing module designed for lab, pilot, and production-scale applications.
The Titan syringe pump from Syrris, a continuous-flow chemical processing module designed for lab, pilot, and production-scale applications, is a chemical-resistant single channel pump designed to deliver flow rates from 1 to 250 ml/min.
The pump is designed reliable scale-up and operates at pressures up to 20 bar and viscosities up to 1,000 cP, delivering controlled flow rates for extended periods. Removable cassettes allow straightforward servicing of syringes and enable seals to be changed with minimal tools required. A built-in backwash feature prolongs seal lifetime and maintains the cleanliness of pistons and cylinders, which also helps to prevent degradation of air-sensitive chemicals and protect users, the company reports. Process safety can be further enhanced by immersing syringe cassettes in a gas blanket.
The pump can be controlled manually via the Titan Remote Display touch screen or automated through PC software. It is compatible with a range of chemical reaction systems.
