The new technology combines advanced high-performance liquid chromatography and ultra-high performance liquid chromatography capabilities to improve lab productivity.
The LC 300 platform and SimplicityChrom software from PerkinElmer combine advanced high-performance liquid chromatography and ultra-high performance liquid chromatography capabilities to provide labs with streamlined testing and user-friendly operation for improved productivity.
The software solution is designed to deliver precise gradient flows and lower levels of dispersion for quick and accurate results for users in the food, cannabis, pharmaceutical, and chemical markets. The system comes equipped with an autosampler with a built-in column oven and a color liquid-crystal display screen that displays status results without having to log into chromatography data system (CDS) software.
Additionally, the SimplicityChrom CDS software works to provide customizable workflows for productivity and streamlining result analysis.
“Whether testing foods for additives, cannabis edibles for potency, drug excipients for impurities or cosmetics for preservatives, scientists need to rely on high-end, easy-to-use analysis technologies,” said Suneet Chadha, vice-president and general manager of Applied Markets, PerkinElmer, in a Nov. 16, 2020 press release. “Our new LC solution gives labs the speed, power, and simplicity they want and the sensitivity and accuracy they need to meet consumer expectations and rigorous regulatory demands.”
