The new device guarantees high accuracy code reading through an anti-frost system and a deep-focus image sensor.
The Rack Reader DR700, a new two-dimensional (2D) code reading device by Micronic, an independent manufacturing company located in The Netherlands, guarantees high accuracy code reading through an anti-frost system and a deep-focus image sensor.
The DR700 is designed for fast and accurate sample identification and can scan and decode a rack of data-matrix codes in seven seconds and a single tube of codes in two seconds. It has a small, space-saving benchtop footprint, is compatible with most 2D data-matrix coded tubes, and can be powered with an external power supply or a computer’s USB port.
Additionally, the device features Micronic Code Reader Software and an optional side barcode reader. The software includes an automatic code re-reading function, adjustment controls for brightness, contrast, and threshold, and an automatic code polarity recognition function.
Micronic launched the device in October 2019.
