Mouvex Announces Product Recovery Cost Savings Calculator Mouvex announces its Product Recovery Cost Savings Calculator to determine waste reduction and cost savings with the use of Mouvex Eccentric Disc Pumps.

Mouvex, part of PSG, a Dover Company, announced the release of its Product Recovery Cost Savings Calculator.  The savings calculator, a worksheet that determines savings, is designed to show hygienic manufacturers the potential for operational waste reduction and cost savings while using Mouvex Eccentric Disc Pump Technologies.

“Far too often, expensive raw materials or saleable finished products are just washed out and flushed down the drain. This product loss is often viewed as nothing more than an acceptable ‘cost of doing business’ for many hygienic manufacturers,” said Wallace Wittkoff, director of global segments and key account management, PSG, in a press release.

Mouvex eccentric disc pumps have no mechanical seals, eliminating the risk of leakage. The pumps offer clean-in-place and sanitize-in-place, dry-run and self-priming capabilities, and can recover 60% to 80% of product from transfer lines.
