Shimadzu and Hanson Research partner on pharmaceutical testing instrument integration.

Shimadzu and Hanson Research have announced a strategic partnership to integrate Hanson’s semi-automated Vision dissolution platform with Shimadzu’s UV-1800 to create an automated on-line system designed to meet demand for automation efficiencies, better reporting and data integrity, audit-proof security compliance, and simplification of complex processes.

In addition, Hanson will introduce a semi-automated integration of the company's Vision AutoPlus dissolution autosampler to Shimadzu’s HPLC product for dissolution labs that require an HPLC analytical finish.

The Shimadzu and Hanson-integrated products were launched at the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) annual meeting and expo in Orlando, FL.
