GEMÜ’s 1205 electrical position indicator is suitable for demanding applications in category 2, zone 1, and/or zone 21 “atmosphères explosibles” or equipment for potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX) areas, as well as for robust use at low temperatures down to -20 °C.
The indicator has an aluminum flameproof enclosure and an ‘increased safety’ ignition protection type, with all interior movable components intended for a long mechanical life, the company reports. Additionally, the indicator has continuously adjustable microswitches for recording end positions with which the closed and/or open position can be reliably recorded with a valve stroke of 2–70 mm.
