CPhI Prepares for India

Article

CPhI Worldwide is still ongoing but CPhI India is just around the corner, preparing to take place on 21-23 November in Mumbai.

CPhI ands its collocated events take place in various other locations outside of Europe. Following the event’s departure from Madrid, it will only be a few weeks before pharmaceutical professionals are once again networking under the CPhI name; this time in Mumbai for CPhI India.

CPhI India will take place on 21–23 November at the Bombay Exhibition Centre and will also celebrate its sixth anniversary. According to the organisers, the Indian pharmaceutical market is growing at an annual rate of 13%, twice that of the global market growth rate.

Last year’s event featured 825 exhibitors from 21 countries and regions and more than 27000 attendees from 96 countries and regions. Visitor levels are not far behind CPhI Worldwide, which has been running for considerably longer than its Indian sister event.

CPhI India will also feature some of the same collocated events that are seen at the European show: P-MEC for pharmaceutical machinery, equipment and technology; ICSE for pharmaceutical contract services and outsourcing solutions; and BioPh for bio-solutions for pharma.
