CPhI and P-MEC India 2015 features exhibits and educational sessions for the Indian pharma industry.
CPhI and P-MEC India, which will be held at the Bombay Convention and Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, India from Dec. 1–3, 2015, hosts exhibitors from India’s pharma machinery, technology, and ingredients sectors. The event organizers anticipate more than 1,100 exhibitors from 25 countries and more than 32,000 visitors from 97 countries at the show.
Driving the event’s growth is the pharma market in India, which will reach $45 billion by 2020 according to most analysts, CPhI reports. Additionally, the government of India has also unveiled ‘Pharma Vision 2020’, which has the goal of making India a global leader in end-to-end drug manufacturing.
The 2015 event will feature the first Pre-Connect Congress, on Nov. 30 at ITC Maratha, Mumbai, bringing together industry influencers and leveraging the knowledge of experts to expand the vision and goals of the Indian pharmaceutical industry, CPhI reports.
In addition, technical seminars and the UBM India Pharma Awards will be held during CPhI and P-Mec India.
“Together, CPhI in its ninth year and P-MEC in its eighth yea, provide the ideal regional platform for companies to learn, invest and do business with India’s high quality pharma solution providers. With the highest number of USFDA approved facilities outside of the US, India is now emerging as the Globe’s finished formulation economy and is set for a sustained period of growth. But with such a dynamic market, it is essential pharma companies have a full view of the market opportunities and, just as crucially, the most up to date analysis to make the right investment choices. With CPhI, P-MEC and now the pre-connect, we are centralizing knowledge and business together to increase collaborations and business opportunities,” said Chris Kilbee, Group Director Pharma at UBM EMEA.
The main sponsors of CPhI and P-MEC India 2015 are: Platinum Partners, Fette Compacting; Gold Partner, ACG Worldwide; and Silver Partner, Fabtech Technologies.
CPhI and P-MEC India are organized by UBM EMEA. Pharmaceutical Technology is owned by UBM Life Sciences.
