The company opened a new sales office located in Seoul, South Korea.

On May 26, 2016, Catalent Pharma Solutions announced the opening of a new sales office in Korea to support the company’s continued investment in the Asia-Pacific region, the company said in a press announcement. The company’s new sales office will be located in Seoul, South Korea.

In addition to the opening of the new sales office, Catalent has filled two key positions in the Asia pacific region. Howard Kim recently joined the company in the role of director of business development and will work between Catalent’s new sales office in Seoul, and the company’s Somerset, NJ headquarters. Kim will manage business development activities across Catalent’s business units in the Korean market. The company also promoted Erin Vlack to manager of Catalent’s new Clinical Supply Services site in Kakegawa, Japan, which will provide secondary packaging, labeling, and distribution capabilities for the company. Vlack will lead the site’s clinical supply operations.

In the past three years, Catalent has made more than $10 million in capital investments with additional personnel to expand its overall Asia-Pacific footprint to meet growing customer demand. The company’s network spans nine audited depots and three fully-owned and operated clinical packaging facilities in China, Singapore, and Japan when it opens for business later this year. Services include primary and secondary packaging, demand led supply services, clinical storage, cold chain services, global distribution, comparator sourcing, project management, clinical supply management, regulatory consulting, and returns and destruction.
