Carrier-based formulations for dry powder inhalers are carefully designed to transport extremely small particles into the lungs. Jet milling can be used to micronize these particles, with both high and low shear mixing processes used to formulate mixtures capable of carrying the fine API particles into the deep lung. This webinar will look at the requirements for pulmonary delivery via carrier-based inhaled powder formulations, and how jet milling can be used to manufacture effective and stable materials for these formulations. It will also look at how it can be integrated into the overall formulation development process.

Key Learning Objectives:

  • Explore the advantages of an integrated approach for carrier-based formulation development
  • Discover best practices for screening and scaling up jet milling for high-quality outcomes
  • Find out how a QbD approach can ensure a smooth and efficient development and scale-up journey

Who Should Attend:

  • Pharmaceutical industry directors
  • Principal Investigators/CMC Leads
  • Manufacturing and development engineers and scientists
