Baxter BioPharma Solutions Joins PBOA

Nelson Patterson has been elected to Pharma & Biopharma Outsourcing Association board. The Pharma & Biopharma Outsourcing Association (PBOA) has announced that Nelson Patterson, vice-president, sales and marketing at Baxter BioPharma Solutions, has been elected to its Board of Trustees, effective immediately. Patterson was elected after Baxter BioPharma Solutions joined the PBOA as a Sustaining Member.

 

The Pharma & Biopharma Outsourcing Association (PBOA) has announced that Nelson Patterson, vice-president, sales and marketing at Baxter BioPharma Solutions, has been elected to its Board of Trustees, effective immediately. Patterson was elected after Baxter BioPharma Solutions joined the PBOA as a Sustaining Member.

“We are very pleased to have Nelson join the PBOA Board of Trustees and to have Baxter BioPharma Solutions as the newest member of our association,” said Gil Roth, president of the Pharma & Biopharma Outsourcing Association. “His extensive experience will be an asset to our Board, as we pursue our goal of strengthening the CMO/CDMO sector. The addition of Baxter to our core membership will also help us advance our agenda and better enable us to illustrate the importance of outsourcing partnerships to the healthcare ecosystem."

“As a strong advocate for our industry, PBOA plays an important and collaborative role in educating multiple parties about what we do to develop and manufacture pharma and biopharma products for healthcare providers, caregivers and, most importantly, patients,” said Patterson.

Patterson has global responsibility for Baxter’s BioPharma Solutions pharmaceutical partnering business, leading both marketing and sales. He holds a degree in Economics and Spanish from Washington & Lee University, and a Masters in Business Administration from The Darden School at the University of Virginia.

The Pharma & Biopharma Outsourcing Association is a nonprofit trade association dedicated to advancing the regulatory, legislative, and general business interests of contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) and contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMOs).
