The company will debut its new brand name, ALPLApharma, and its new childproof closure, the CRC justONE, at CPhI Worldwide from Nov. 5–7 in Frankfurt, Germany.
ALPLA Group, a plastic packaging company based in Austria, announced it will be consolidating its pharmaceutical offerings under the new ALPLApharma brand name. The company will debut its new name and its new childproof closure, the CRC justONE, at CPhI Worldwide from Nov. 5–7 in Frankfurt, Germany.
The new branding comes after the company completed acquisitions in South-Eastern Europe and Africa, giving it access to decades of experience in the packaging market for pharmaceutical products, according to an Oct. 3, 2019 press release.
“ALPLApharma is more than just a marketing strategy to us,” said Walter Knes, global sales director, Closure Systems, Injected Parts and Pharma at ALPLA, in the press release. “We are consolidating all our previous work for pharmaceutical customers under this brand. In doing so, we are combining the specific expertise available to us through our new locations with all of our services, knowledge, and globally applicable standards.”
To kick off its introduction to the company, ALPLApharma has released the CRC justONE, a childproof closure with a tamper-evident band that can only be opened by simultaneously pushing and turning the closure, according to the release. All parts of the closure are manufactured in one injection molding process and work in conjunction with bottles ranging from 30 mL to 1.5 L.
ALPLApharma can be found at stands 111A10 and 111D42 at CPhI Worldwide.
