The new location will handle logistics, development, data, service support, FAT, and project management.
ACG Inspection, a division of ACG, an integrated pharma manufacturing solutions company, announced it will open a new “Centre of Excellence” in Yverdon, Switzerland for logistics, development, data, service support, factory acceptance test (FAT), and project management for the company.
The company will host a three-day “open doors” celebration to welcome customers and media to the Yverdon location, according to an Oct. 8, 2019 press release. The event will feature live technology demonstrations of its future-ready technologies including, Brand Protection, Geo-Location Identification, Process Analytical Technology (PAT), Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Temperature Monitoring, Inspection 4.0 (AI Powered), and End-To-End Tracentication.
“Our new ‘Centre of Excellence’ will allow the team to create adaptive solutions in response to customer needs and requirements-helping to make them future-ready,” said Ettore Cucchetti, CEO, ACG Inspection, in the press release. “It is set to be a hub of R&D in the region, with aims to discover new technologies for serialization, aggregation, PAT, blister inspection, authentication, and track & trace solutions (including geo-localization and temperature monitoring). We will subsequently be moving in a new business and assembly premises for Europe of about 1000 m2. This facility is planned to be ready by the end of 2020.”
ACG will be exhibiting at Booth 102A40 at CPhI Worldwide, taking place Nov. 5–7, 2019 in Frankfurt, Germany.
