The new Arium Smart Station from Sartorius can be wall-mounted or placed on a lab bench to dispense exact quantities of pure and ultrapure water required for experiments.
The recent introduction of Sartorius’ Arium Smart Station in May 2021 allows for the more efficient and precise dispensation of pure and ultrapure water from the company’s Arium Comfort and Pro water systems and Arium Bagtanks.
When utilizing the station, which can be wall-mounted or placed on a lab bench, laboratory water is dispensed in the exact quantities required for experiments and can optimize space and productivity by connecting multiple dispensers to a single water production unit, Sartorius said in a May 17, 2021 company press release. Each station comes equipped with a touch-activated color display with button technology that can be used while wearing gloves and includes manual, volume, and favorite volume dispensing.
Additionally, the station includes a dispenser arm that can swivel a full 360° and can be adjusted in height from 13 cm to 75 cm, allowing for the filling of sample tubes from 1.5 mL to graduated cylinders, bottles, and beakers at 5000 mL.
“Lab and bench space is always at a premium, and that was an essential consideration when we designed the Arium Smart Station,” said Nadia Brandes, lab water product manager at Sartorius, in the press release. “Users have complete flexibility to place the stations where it makes the most sense for their specific needs. In addition to being compact, the stations have an ergonomic design, an intuitive display, and offer flexible height adjustment to fill even the largest vessels.”
