On Oct. 31, 2017, Pharmapack Europe 2018 announced the event program for Europe’s pharmaceutical packaging and drug delivery conference and exhibition taking place on Feb.7–8, 2018 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, Paris.

The event will focus on the industry insights and innovations in pharmaceutical packaging and drug delivery, and will include keynote speeches from industry figures, a symposium, educational workshops, as well as a learning lab that will explore regulatory changes and impacts, challenges in packaging and devices development in biologics, materials, sustainability and quality consistency, and how recent advances in drug delivery will improve patient treatment adherence.

“The pharmaceutical packaging and drug delivery industry is at the crest of a new wave of innovation and opportunity. We have developed an extensive program for Pharmapack Europe 2018 to provide the industry with insights from leading industry experts, practical guidance and workshops on challenges and opportunities, and networking and collaboration opportunities through our International Meetings Program to enable visitors to share knowledge and experience to drive business forward,” said Anne Schumacher, brand director, Pharmapack Europe, in a press release.

Additionally, the event has added a new feature, the Start-up Pitch, which is an opportunity for companies at an early stage or pre-commercialization phase to present ideas to industry experts. The conference will also include the 2018 Start-up Hub, which will showcase the innovations of young companies. Both features are organized in partnership with Early Metrics, the pan-European rating agency for start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises, assessing the potential growth of early stage ventures by analyzing a company’s non-financial metrics.
