Jet-Vac’s systems work by pulling contaminated fumes and gases into the flow of a wash fluid, which mixes air, gas, and liquid streams to produce a cleaning solution.
Jet-Vac Technologies released a line of engineered fume scrubbing systems aimed at preventing environmental releases, certifying regulatory compliance, and protecting employee health and safety.
The systems work by pulling contaminated fumes and gases into the flow of a wash fluid, which mixes air, gas, and liquid streams to produce a cleaning solution, the company said in an April 5, 2021 press release. The mixture is then separated from the wash liquid in a separation tank and the wash liquid is recycled and reused.
The scrubbing systems, which work to remove and neutralize acid fumes, noxious laboratory gases, particulates, odors, dust, and condensable contaminants, are also effective for gas and condensable vapor removal, are not affected by corrosive fumes, require low maintenance, and are economical for labs and production facilities.
