The spray dryer can be disassembled for autoclave sterilization and works to produce small-scale samples with minimum product loss.

Fluid Air introduced the PolarDry Electrostatic Spray Dryer, Model 0.1, its newest spray dry and microencapsulation product for feasibility testing.

According to a company press release, the spray dryer can be disassembled for autoclave sterilization and works to produce small-scale samples with minimum product loss. Additionally, the small size of the spray dryer allows for it to fit inside most lab fume or containment hoods, where noxious solvents, potent APIs, and oxygen sensitive materials are tested, making the exploration of new products more efficient and cost-effective before full-scale testing.
