The device doses from an enclosed head into target vials or capsules with openings 6 mm in diameter, then utilizes live feedback to determine a substance’s flow characteristics, while improving dispensing efficiency. With the ability to be operated inside a glove box or safety enclosure, the balance reduces airborne exposure risk, eliminates spill risk, and lessens the need to open the balance door and transfer compounds from the main container into a secondary container. Manual operation of the balance is also possible when combined with liquid dosing, eliminating scooping in or out to meet targets and reducing sample sizes up to 30%.
