The new materials handling laboratory will be used for storage, dispensing, inventory management, and distribution of non-GMP materials.
Velesco Pharma announced that it has opened a new laboratory in its Plymouth, Michigan facility to further expand its capabilities for materials management and meet the needs of its growing client base.
The new materials handling laboratory will be used for storage, dispensing, inventory management, and distribution of non-GMP materials, such as API, intermediates, and compounds transitioning into development. Velesco has analysis and formulation expertise to support all compound management activities.
Complementing the current cGMP material storage and dispensing operation in Velesco’s Kalamazoo, Michigan facility, this new laboratory space enables Velesco to provide compound management services for materials with either cGMP or non-GMP requirements. These services include long- and short-term storage of materials at ambient, refrigerated or frozen temperatures as well as material aliquoting over a wide weight range, along with labeling and distribution.
