Cegedim, has announced that it is collaborating with Sanofi to deliver real-world data for the improvement of health within Europe.
Technology and Services company, Cegedim, has announced in a May 21, 2019 press release that it is collaborating with Sanofi to deliver real-world data for the improvement of health within Europe.
Through the strategic collaboration, Sanofi will be able to access Cegedim’s THIN (The Health Improvement Network) database, which was originated in 1994 and covers several million individuals within France, the United Kingdom, Spain, Belgium, and Romania. Additionally, real-world evidence and medical teams from Sanofi will be supported by health data experts from Cegedim to help drive improvements in patient care across various therapeutic areas.
Jean-Claude Labrune, Cegedim chairman and CEO, said, “This historic collaboration with one of the global pharmaceutical industry’s leaders is proof of our European expertise on real world data and our ability to make it ‘actionable’. The depth of the history and robustness of the THIN data have led to more than 600 scientific articles.”
