Rentschler Fill Solutions Starts GMP Operations in Austria
Rentschler Fill Solutions received a certificate of GMP compliance from the Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety for its new aseptic fill/finish facility.
Rentschler Fill Solutions GmbH, a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) for aseptic fill/finish services, obtained a certificate of GMP compliance and a pharmaceutical manufacturing license for the European market from the Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety (AGES) on August 20, 2018, the company announced in an October 1, 2018 press release.
The company, located in Rankweil, Austria, offers CDMO services from GMP-compliant aseptic filling and freeze-drying to analytics. The facility is designed for the flexible handling of small- to medium-sized batches of up to 60,000 vials and provides lyophilization capacity of 15 m². Single-use equipment guarantees maximum product safety. The facility is designed to enable future expansion without interrupting ongoing operations.
Together with its strategic partners, Rentschler Biopharma SE and Leukocare AG, Rentschler Fill Solutions offers end-to-end services from formulation development through drug substance production to aseptic fill/finish.
Rentschler Fill Solutions will be exhibiting at the CPhI Worldwide conference at the joint booth of Life Sciences Austria (ICSE hall 3, booth 3D73).
