MedPharm, a UK-based contract provider of topical and transdermal product design and formulation development services, announced it was named the winner of the Analysis, Testing, and Quality Control category at the 2019 CPhI Pharma Awards on Nov. 5, 2019.
According to a company press release, MedPharm attributes the win to its dedication to discovering new ways to demonstrate the bioequivalence of topical generic products in regulatory submissions. This includes working with regulatory authorities to develop in-vitro models and statistical justification using multiple donors.
“This award is a testament to MedPharm’s depth of experience and integrity in the field of in vitro modeling and topical formulation development,” said Eugene Ciolfi, president and CEO of MedPharm, in the press release. “By refining and automating these in-vitro models MedPharm has created a cost-effective route to demonstrating bioequivalence.”
