Integrated Digital Solutions for Supply Chains

Article

Supply Chain Wizard has developed a set of integrated digital solutions to improve supply chain functions.

Supply Chain Wizard, a global consulting firm specializing in serialization and traceability, has developed a set of integrated digital supply chain solutions. The solutions, suitable for manufacturers, contract manufacturers, contract packagers, third-party logistics providers and distributors, and pharmacies, were developed with pharmaceutical industry leaders to aid industry compliance with serialization deadlines in the United States (2018) and Europe (early 2019).

According to the company, the portfolio of solutions uses the data generated by mandated serialization implementation to improve production methods, end-to-end supply chain visibility, resource optimization, and other business practices, and contains six components revolving around a central track & trace hub. Each component deploys the company’s 3-D approach, which navigates from data to dashboards to decisions platforms.

Mined information is applied toward operational feedback that leads to logical adjustments for improvements, delivering smart manufacturing/Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things technologies. The product is an end-to-end digital supply chain that can deliver unit level granular visibility and data-driven decision making.

The six solution platforms include: digital supply chain for providing supply chain practitioners and executives with comprehensive visibility of their supply chain systems, products, and trading partner network; digital factory for combining data sources from manufacturing to packaging operations that can highlight correlations between processes to improve factory floor operations; digital warehouse for improving organizational visibility of internal assets (forklifts, operators, jobs) within the warehousing space; digital transport for real-time monitoring products from warehouse departure to customer delivery; digital retail to optimize staffing levels and schedule functions; and digital projects to manage a range of programs and projects.
