Tom Tappen, who passed away Jan. 1, 2015, is remembered for contributions to the pharma industry, customers, and business associates.
Tom Tappen, director business development of Fluid Air, a division of Spraying Systems Co., died on Jan. 1, 2015.
For the past 32 years, Tappen developed new technologies for solid dosage processing equipment. A graduate of Rutgers University, Tappen was a member of the football team and recently was inducted into their Hall of Fame. He also was a member of the Marines Memorial Association.
A Fluid Air announcement described Tappen’s role in the industry: “Anyone who had the privilege to be around Tom-all of his customers, employees, business associates, friends-because part of his family. His wealth of knowledge and infinite patience left him in high esteem as a true diplomat and gentleman. His strong and gracious presence will surely be missed.”
Contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in Tappen’s honor.
