Herma US, the newly-formed subsidiary of Herma GmbH (a Germany-based provider of labeling machinery and self-adhesive labels and materials to the global packaging marketplace) will open a demonstration and testing facility at its Fairfield, NJ headquarters, the company announced in a Aug. 10, 2016 press release. The facility also will be outfitted as a predelivery testing site for recently purchased machines.

Among the machines available for demonstration will be the Herma 132M, a wrap-around, high-speed labeling machine featuring a rotating star wheel for precise product transport.  The Herma 132M handles containers and glass bottles 16-80 mm in diameter at speeds of up to 300 containers per minute. The machine can be outfitted with a wide range of printing and vision systems and features automatic rejection of out-of-specification labels before they are applied to product.
