Eaton Showcases Liquid Filtration Solutions at Achema 2018

Eaton Technologies’ filtration division will showcase its liquid filtration solutions for the industrial processes, life sciences, and hydraulic filtration fields at Achema 2018, taking place on June 11–15 in Frankfurt, Germany.

The range of hydraulic filtration products include hydraulic filters, filter elements, EasyFit exchange filter elements, which are compatible with most available systems, and the CCS4 contamination control system. The condition monitoring system measures the condition of oil in hydraulic systems to prevent damage and to ensure compliance with standards.

Highlighted products include the new range of Max-Load coreless filter bags, Beco depth filters, as well as filters and filter elements for use in hydraulic systems. The coreless filter bags are made of melt-blown material and are suitable for applications involving high retention ratings, such as water treatment, filtration of bulk, and fine chemicals or metal cleaning. The rigid, graduated material structure has a depth of more than 18 mm and offers a protective shield against hard, metallic, as well as deformable, gel-like contaminants. For widely varying operating conditions, reliability can be increased through an outer mesh cover of polyamide 6.6 with a thickness of 10 μm, according to the company.

Eaton will also present products from the industrial process segment, including the Topline single bag filter housings made of corrosion- and temperature-resistant nickel alloy using cast components for the first time, the new range of filter cartridges for various industrial processes, as well as its MCF automatic filter series, which are mechanically cleaned filters that do not require dynamic seals.

Additionally, the company will feature its Becodisc range of products consisting of standard and specialized stacked disc cartridges for life-science applications. These products include Beco Integra Disc housing with raised edges and quick closure device, which is suitable for complex applications in processes involving fine chemical or pharmaceutical products. The enclosed Beco Integra Plate EP plate and frame filter comes in five sizes, ranging from 200 mm to 1000 mm.
