Donaldson Company, Inc. a manufacturer of filtration systems and replacement parts, announced a $10 million expansion of its testing laboratories at its Bloomington, Minn., corporate headquarters. Expected to be fully operational in 2014, expansions will enhance Donaldson's capabilities for testing filter performance under various environmental conditionst.
The expansions will enhance current capabilities to test products in real world environments, factoring in multiple variables at one time such as: temperature, humidity, vibration, pulsation and flow as well as various contaminants. This will allow Donaldson's in-house scientists and engineers to speed development time and decrease costs, while increasing product effectiveness and reliability, the company reports in a statement.
