The Sartocon Slice 50 crossflow filter device from Sartorius Stedim Biotech (SSB) is designed for use in biotechnological applications, including membrane screening and small-volume process development. The device is offered as an encapsulated crossflow module with a filter area of 50 cm2 and a variety of molecular weight cutoffs. The Sartocon Slice 50 is linearly scalable and be interfaced with SSB’s recently launched SARTOFLOW Smart benchtop crossflow system, as well as with many other laboratory-scale filtration systems.
