Colorcon Launches Colorcon Academy

Colorcon has launched the Colorcon Academy to provide educational programs that will help customers optimize formulation development and manufacturing processes. The Colorcon Academy program is designed to give pharmaceutical professionals a deeper knowledge of excipient functionality, core formulation, film coating, and controlled release of oral solid dosage forms, along with regulatory insights. There is also the opportunity to explore innovative solutions to formulation challenges. 

According to Dr Ali Rajabi-Siahboomi, vice-president and chief scientific officer at Colorcon, there will be different programs offered across the company’s 20 technical services facilities worldwide, in addition to events designed specifically for customers, which are held at their site. 

Colorcon is a supplier of specialty excipients for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical applications. Since the first Colorcon Coating School in the 1980s, the company has provided continuing education to thousands of customers around the world each year, demonstrating its commitment to advancing pharmaceutical technology and its applications. Attendees of Colorcon’s courses include senior research scientists, technology transfer scientists, and process engineers.
