Centogene, a Germany-based rare disease company focused on turning clinical, genetic, and biochemical data into medical solutions for physicians and pharmaceutical companies, announced it is highlighting Rare Disease Day on Feb. 29, 2020 with an event in Berlin, Germany. The company will also host simultaneous events in Mexico City, Mexico, and Lahore, Pakistan.
According to a Feb. 13, 2020 press release, the Berlin events will begin with a conference session featuring rare disease physicians, advocates, patients, and their families. Next, guests will be treated to musical performances from The Wave Quartet and Shake Stew before viewing entries from the DISORDER Film Festival that took place in San Francisco in November 2019.
At the event, Centogene will also announce its plans to host the annual International Rare Disease Film Festival in Berlin in 2021, according to the release.
