Catalent Appoints New Vice-President of Operations
Jim Walter will take on the role of vice-president of operations for Catalent’s Oral and Specialty Delivery business.
Catalent announced on Feb. 12, 2020 that it is appointing Jim Walter as vice-president of operations for its Oral and Specialty Delivery business. Walter will be responsible for Catalent’s Research Triangle Park, NC, Woodstock, IL, and Malvern, PA sites in the United States and its Swindon and Dartford sites in the United Kingdom.
Before his new role, Walter spent 23 years with Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals in various operational roles and was most recently the senior vice-president of operations and engineering at Tinuum Group, a US-based energy company.
“I am delighted to welcome Jim to head up the operations for this important part of the Catalent business,” said Jonathan Arnold, president of Catalent’s Oral and Specialty Delivery business unit, in a company press release. “The experience that he brings will ensure that the company continues to grow while providing our customers with the most efficient and operationally superior services.”
