The new automated service connects companies with biologics development and manufacturing services.
BrevisRefero, a platform for managing Request for Proposals (RFP), announced on Jan. 8, 2020 that it launched an online platform for biotech companies and service providers. The new service provides companies with biologics development and manufacturing services at a lower cost and with faster results, the company said in a press release.
During its beta-launch, the platform successfully helped businesses deliver their RFPs to service providers within days, rather than the weeks required for a typical RFP manual process, the press release said. The company also offers a concierge member support service staffed with outsourcing professionals to help companies through the online process.
“We started BrevisRefero to be more than just a place to post RFPs. BrevisRefero assists pharma and biotech companies in finding optimal contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMOs) faster and in a more data-driven way based on our 20 plus years of experience in the biotech industry,'' said Terry Cochrane, founder and president of BrevisRefero, in the press release. “Our secure online platform provides instant access to a global network of service providers, a simplified confidentiality process, consistent RFP formats, and powerful analytical tools that allow direct side by side comparisons of proposals so innovators can make the best outsourcing decisions faster than ever.”
