Bosch Packaging Technology will present four devices for processing liquid and solid pharmaceutical dosage forms at CPhI Worldwide 2014.

Bosch Packaging Technology will be exhibiting its compact laboratory systmes at CPhI Worldwide at booth C38 in Hall 1. The company will showcase equipment for processing liquid and solid pharmaceutical dosage forms. Bosch will present a variety of exhibits, including several systems from its product brands Hüttlin and Manesty. The devices for the production of solid pharmaceuticals are available to customers for tests in the modernized and expanded Hüttlin laboratory in Schopfheim, Germany.

Exhibits include the FHM 1000 series, Solidlab 1, Hüttlin Mycromix, and Manesty Xpress 100. FHM 1000 for liquid pharmaceutical filling operations is a semi-automated, modular laboratory device series for pharmacists as well as for the application in laboratories and early stages of clinical trials. The series currently consists of four modules: the human machine interface (HMI), the filling module with a peristaltic pump, the weighing module, and the needle movement.

Solidlab 1, presented by Hüttlin and Manesty, ensures maximum performance and handles batches from 0.05 to 2 kilograms. The machine enables the mixing, drying, granulating, and coating of small particles and pellets in the fluid bed module, and tablet coating in the coater module.

Hüttlin Mycromix, the smallest high-shear mixer granulator in the laboratory equipment range is suited for research and design purposes and handles batches from 0.1 to 3.5 kilograms. The bottom drive unit Hüttlin Gentlewing ensures highly homogeneous mixing qualities for granulates. The Manesty Xpress 100 with data acquisition software allows for better comparison of test results.
