BHS-Sonthofen Combines Divisions to Create New Process Technology Division

The new division will provide system solutions and individual machines and components.

BHS-Sonthofen announced on Jan. 26, 2021 that AVA, a mechanical engineering company BHS-Sonthofen acquired in 2018, and its filtration technology division have been combined and are now operating jointly under the name BHS-Sonthofen Process Technology.

According to a company press release, the new division will provide system solutions and individual machines and components. The combination will also give the company the opportunity to expand its range of solutions and consulting services regarding mixing, drying, granulation, sterilization, and reaction.

“We have fully repositioned the company with three business units, building materials machinery, recycling and environment, and process technology,” said Dennis Kemmann, CEO of BHS-Sonthofen, in the press release. “Each of the business units serves specific industries. We work in partnership with customers primarily from the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, but also from the food production and other sectors, to develop process technology solutions.”
