The Faciliflex Express product line can be commissioned in six months, making it ideal for cell and gene therapy companies that need to rapidly bring their therapies to patients.
AES Clean Technology, a cleanroom manufacturer, announced on Sept. 8, 2020 that it has launched the Faciliflex Express product line, a pre-designed cleanroom solution.
According to a company press release, the new product line features three models for cleanrooms of 5000, 15,000, and 30,000 square feet. Each model includes design, material, HVAC, and installation and can be commissioned in six months, making it ideal for cell and gene therapy companies that need to rapidly bring their therapies to patients.
“Faciliflex Express is the AES response to the needs of the market and our ability to advance delivery of standard modular cleanroom facilities in order to expedite delivery of the latest novel patient therapies to urgently save lives,” said Ralph Melphi, vice-president of Sales and Marketing, AES, in the press release. “We have leveraged over 200 years of combined senior management experience and our leadership position in the cell and gene therapy space culminating in these fasttrack Solutions.”
“FaciliFlex Express maximizes the full breadth of our knowledge and experience at AES,” added Mitchell Gonzales, vice-president of Process Technology, AES, in the press release. “This new product line optimizes the benefits of AES modular components into standard design configurations. We’ve compiled the commonalities we’ve seen in many cell and gene projects previously completed. This approach shows meaningful timeline and cost reductions to greenfield and emergency response projects (e.g. COVID-19) where time is of the essence.”
