Microsoft and Adents Develop Traceability Solution for Track and Trace

Article

The companies have developed a Level 4 traceability solution to manage pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.

Microsoft and Adents have combined efforts to jointly develop and commercialize a new cloud platform called Adents Prodigi. The platform is a Level 4 traceability solution that can centrally manage regulatory requirements imposed on the pharmaceutical industry as well as allow laboratories and CMOs to use data generated during the serialization and track and trace processes.

Adents Prodigi was released in Oct. 2016 and relies on advanced Microsoft Azure technologies. The platform allows drug manufacturers to securely generate, exchange, and control the data created through unit identification. The Adents Prodigi platform also integrates data analysis (including Microsoft Power BI) and machine learning tools, providing analytical capabilities for these new sources of information.

Adents Prodigi was developed collaboratively by a cross-disciplinary team of Adents and Microsoft experts, and can host business applications offered by third parties to fully exploit data stored on the platform. In total, Adents Prodigi stands as a solution to ensure compliance with new regulations while efficiently mining and utilizing new data to manage production and distribution practices.
