ISPE Forms Foundation to Support the Pharma Industry

Article

The International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) launched its philanthropic division, the ISPE Foundation, to support industry demands.

On June 19, 2018, the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) announced the launch of its philanthropic arm, ISPE Foundation.

ISPE states that the new foundation will support its members and the pharmaceutical industry to address industry demands. The foundation will seek funding to support a range of initiatives, including the ISPE Travel Grant Program. Under this program, students and young professionals will receive financial support to further their professional development and contribute to building pharma’s future workforce.

The foundation will also support the group’s Women in Pharma program, which provides professional training and education to foster mentorship and networking for women and ethnically diverse people.

Another focus of the foundation is to translate ISPE’s industry guides to the global workforce through its Emerging Markets Knowledge Exchange and to train global regulators in industry best practices through its Global Training and Harmonization Fund.
